Stockist spot: The Wholefoods Box

The Wholefoods Box story begins in 2015 when our founder Ahmet opened a small grocers, Village Organic in Hackney, London. Ahmet and his family lived in the area and saw potential for a store that could form a community around sustainability and healthy food. 

The shop thrived, and Ahmet and the team took care building relationships with local brands, and sourcing the best fresh produce. Before COVID hit we knocked through the back of the shop, and launched the sister store Village Wholefoods in Clapham. A main aim from the outset was to make the businesses as sustainable as possible, and we’ve succeeded in launching refill stations in both our stores, making our own juices from wonky fruit and veg, as well as installing sushi fridges and soft serve Hackney Gelato!

The only next step was to take the project online! Now www.wholefoodsbox.co.uk provides an unrivalled array of health products, supplements and specialist ingredients to customers all over the UK.
